What is true art? Watercolor, drawings, landscapes, photoshop, flowers–that’s not true art. It can be beautiful, but that’s not art.
The art lies in taking the time to say that this matters. This beauty in the world matters. We need this art. Art is resting in the fact that peace, rest and stillness are needed. Art is having the faith in the beauty. The faith in yourself that your thoughts, feelings, and dreams weave together to mean something so much more than we see. Art is connecting the motives, the feelings and the desires–the things unseen–to a higher purpose.
Art is simply following our soul’s inkling of creation. Art is the connections we make in this world. Art is the love.
Art is the brilliancy that shines from living for Christ.
Are we living a life that is artful?
