Today I’m linking up with Kiki over at In It’s Time for the one-year anniversary of The Circle, which aims to bring bloggers together to talk about some fun things like memories and creativity. In honor of the anniversary and throwback Thursday, we are sharing some old memories and photos as well as some of our favorite posts from the past!
So let me introduce you to me through the years:
From moments growing up with Mom and Dad, to making memories with college friends from freshman year to hanging out with my brother (who has now graduated high school!), reflecting over the years is so refreshing. I loved digging out my old box of photos, cards, and knickknacks to look through so many letters and photos from growing up. It had that old box smell, which felt weird since I realized I may be old enough for my old boxes to have an old smell.
I’m learning to look at the past with love and learning that the experiences from growing up are meant to energize you–fill you up with spirit and life. I cherish so many memories and so many people. Let’s recognize our love. Let’s be grateful in all that we have.
In talking about memories and the past, here are some of my favorite moments from this blog that I’ve shared over the years:
- What Creativity Means to Me: Another post from The Circle!
- My First Time in New York City
- Paying the Price for Community
- Life is Colorful: The Color Run
- The Importance of Community: Reflecting on Sophomore Year
- A Summer Guacamole Recipe
- Meeting Laura Story at her worship concert!
