I’m at it again with the smoothies.
This time it’s a smoothie in remembrance of summer vacation and/or to celebrate the last few days of summer.
This recipe is really simple and really yummy. It’s a perfect splash of tropical for your day. These steps are modified from this recipe I found a while ago.
- 1 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen–if frozen the ice below is not necessary)
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 banana
- A handful of ice cubes
- Place all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth. Pour into two glasses or one large glass. Add a pineapple wedge for decoration if desired.
Ultimately, I always make smoothies to taste. It’s easy to try your smoothie before taking it out of the blender and adding additional ingredients until you achieve the taste you like! I love experimenting.
I hope you enjoyed this recipe. I’m so excited about the chance to use my new blender this school year. I keep getting more and more smoothie ideas in mind. You might just see more on the blog!
I’ll be posting soon about some life updates, all about my classes and my junior year so far. Hope you all are having great weeks!
