So, guys. The other day I went to this store with one of my best friends as we caught up with each other, went shopping and ate Noodles & Company. This store was Altar’d State.
And to put it simply, it was me in a store.
Altar’d State, first of all, has an amazing line of clothing, accessories, jewelry, decor and gifts. When I shopped around, most everything was my style. The feeling and atmosphere was more than welcoming–it was inspiring.
Altar’d State is a Christian store focused on giving back and selling brands like TOMS that promote causes and make a difference. I noticed some merchandise benefiting causes in Guatemala and more.
Although I didn’t buy anything when I went in, I came out completely satisfied with experiencing a store that completely spoke to me. This is what women’s fashion stores should be about: inspiring young women with modest clothing and accessories and through making a difference.
A few simple touches that stood out to me in the store were a journal for prayer requests in the dressing room, books on sale to encourage young women in their faith, and paintings and shirts with Bible verses and quotes on them.
I can’t wait to go back and perhaps purchase some gifts from there. I”m not a huge fan of their prices, but I love their brand personality and who they are as a company. So that’s enough to spark my interest and to shop there for me, for others and for fun!
Have you all ever heard of Altar’d State or shopped there? Have you discovered a favorite store lately?
