Currently, I thank God for warmth, kindness, friends, family and churches.
I sip on hot apple cider as I relax after work.
I listen to Ed Sheeran’s song “Lego House” on Spotify.
I prepare to make homemade pizzas for dinner tonight!
Currently, I’m inspired by words. Words of power, wisdom and depth.
I’m thinking about new year’s resolutions. (Something I never used to do.)
I’m waiting for my hair to dry.
I feel like we do too much waiting in our lives. What if there was no such thing as waiting? No waiting in lines, no waiting for Christmas.
But that’s what season we’re in. We’re all in this waiting time. Waiting for Christmas, for the holidays and for the new year. We’re waiting for spring. Nature is waiting for spring. Waiting for warmth.
Right now, I think we need to do things in the moment. Forget about waiting. Think about today. Stop taking in the anxiety that comes with finding the right present, the right gift to give everyone on your list. Relax. Rest. The day will come. Take in what’s now.
Currently, I’m loving designing my blog, relaxing on winter break, and mentally preparing for the new year of firsts, changes, work and fun.
Right now, I’m thankful for a chance to simply type down my thoughts.
I’m excited for my upcoming posts. I’m looking forward to see how this blog grows over these next few weeks, as I have time to post, design and interact with you all.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
